]]>In this episode of Color Bar, hosts Betsy Davis and Kim Opdyke sit down with Andy Fetherman, President & CEO of Müller Martini North America, for one of the most energizing — and unexpectedly moving — conversations.
Andy has spent over 35 years in the print industry, starting as a press-side technician (yes, he fell for the “box of halftone dots” trick too) and working his way to leading one of the most storied finishing companies in the world. He joined us to talk about the Müller Martini and Hunkeler merger, what it means for print partners, and how the theme “Better Together Than Apart” became more than a slogan — it became a culture.
Together, the group digs into:
This one hits differently. Don’t miss it.

Chris challenges legacy thinking and makes the case that print’s future isn’t about storefronts or ordering portals—it’s about workflow, automation, AI, and integration. The conversation explores how data, robotics, and intelligent production systems are reshaping manufacturing floors and enabling true print-on-demand at scale.
Together, the group discusses:
The message is clear: print companies that embrace technology, collaboration, and innovation won’t just survive—they’ll lead.

]]>Let’s celebrate Earth Day together. As a leader in sustainable print for the last two decades, we want to help marketers make the right decisions when it comes to their graphic communications. These decisions include pivoting to sustainable print alternatives and increasing awareness in general environmental sustainability. We can work with our vendors to provide an array of traditional Offset, Digital, and Large Format sustainable print options.
For example, in December 2020 we held an information session about sustainable options and alternatives, specifically for Large Format print. We focused on green alternatives to current substrates being used in print marketing efforts, retail displays, rollouts, and brand environments. We’re proud to say that it has led to many fruitful conversations with our clients and the conversion of active projects to some of the suggested substrates. Here’s the recap blog of the Sustainability Webinar, and don’t forget to subscribe to us on YouTube!
But as an organization, we don’t want to stop there. Additionally, we have a commitment to our local communities, such as our communication with the NJDEP Air Quality, Energy and Sustainability which protects New Jersey’s air quality and evaluates, develops, and implements environmental practices across New Jersey, where our headquarters is located.
We are ready to assist your team with our expertise in sustainable print. Please feel free to reach out to your Sandy Alexander Representative, Gene Palecco at [email protected] or call our main line 973.470.8100.
